Justice ”Grey” Greystone is obsessed with tracking down the serial killer known as ‘The Lion’, who has been strangling escorts at the Panthera, a high powered Washington DC gentleman’s club.  Kicked out of the FBI for being too obsessed with The Lion, Grey scores a job as security at the Panthera but needs a way to get closer to his target.  Then he meets Sydney.  Sydney fights for battered women, running a shelter and helping some disappear and live under new identities. Her boss at the shelter also runs an escort agency that supplies girls for parties at the Panthera.  When Grey informs her some have been killed by the Lion, Sydney offers to go undercover to find evidence to stop him.

This has a really exciting plot with some mystery, hot romance, and a lot of action.  Sydney was a strong heroine who could take care of herself and Grey was likeable, an alpha male without the jerkiness (most of the time)!  I liked both of their back stories, they gave both characters depth and we saw what drives them.  I really enjoyed this book and am really looking forward to the next story from Team Justice.
