Full of short stories about the different views and experiences of people involved in New Zealand rugby, this book lets you pick it up and read a bit before putting it down.  It showcases a variety of different people from all walks of life; from stalwart backbones of club rugby to the artwork designer of promotional material.  The stories are very well written and give you a brief glimpse of their experiences.  The opinions on where rugby is going are very different for each interviewee and its fascinating reading. One common theme though, is the love of the game.

Not a rugby fan, I expected to read a dry, technical manual that was boring to me.  Instead this book is fascinating, giving little glimpses of people united by a common love.  The book is visually very attractive, well laid out with interesting photos.  This was compelling reading and I finished it in one sitting, telling myself ‘just one more story’!  I highly recommend this book for anyone keen on rugby.
